SCOA has three tiers of partnerships, each serving a particular focus. We have institutional partnerships, consulting partnerships, and operator partnerships.
Institutional partnerships are for entities who believe in and want to support SCOA's mission. These include some governments and government branches, private foundations, fellow non-profits, and educational institutions (such as universities and university departments/programs).
Consulting partnerships are for international consulting firms, as well as African consulting firms, that believe education and the cultivation of a more informed generation on Africa is crucial to long-term ties between the West and Africa. We aim to give students the very best understanding of business on the continent and it is our consulting partners that make that possible every day.
SCOA's Operating partnerships are why SCOA exists. SCOA aims to facilitate active engagement with stakeholders operating in Africa, and to enable students to have real experience on the continent. Our Operating profits include governments, startups, established businesses, fellow nonprofits, and more, and each offers a unique opportunity through which students can engage with African businesses and develop long-term ties to the continent.
In a country where deaf and hard-of-hearing (HoH) individuals are often abandoned at the margins of society, Mr. Adebayo Enibukun and his washing and dry-cleaning company, CleanAce (the 2nd largest in Nigeria!), are paving the way to train and employ deaf and HoH individuals. SCOA is partnering with Mr. Enibukun to develop new ways to integrate these employees and to establish sustainable flows of funding to continue the program and employ more Nigerians in need.
Priority Prime Limited is a startup developed by London and Accra based entrepreneur, Mr. Danise Owusu-Yeboah. Priority Prime was founded to cater to the growing need for charging point infrastructure in Ghana as the growing demand for electric and hybrid vehicles clashes with infrastructural realities. SCOA is partnering with Mr. Owusu-Yeboah to conduct market analysis, undertake risk assessments, and help build ties between Priority Prime and EV manufacturers and dealerships in Ghana.
